A clinically depressed teenager gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward. You can watch the preview here. Cool Craig(Gilchrist) leads a pretty normal life yet he finds himself under a lot of pressure. Seeking help he asks to be admitted to the hospital, where he's taken under the wing of Bobby(Galifianakis) a patient in the psychiatric ward. In 5 days he learns to be more appreciative of his life(and also finds love?) While the movie has a little teenage angst and out of control hormones I was pleasantly surprised. It has that old school movie type feel, which a lot of movies now days are lacking. Which is to say it has a plot, and decent character development. Zach Galifianakis is an unforgettable actor, and I appreciated his somewhat more serious role in this film. I'm still trying to work out some sort of rating system, but I would definitely recommend this show.

It's Kind of a Funny Story
